  • Music in the Park Festival, Stanton

    Powell County’s first Music in the Park Festival made a memorable first impression as overflow crowds came out to mingle with numerous vendors, including Sterling Health Care and several other medical organizations. SHC’s team provided blood pressure checks, school-based information, promotional items and other valuable information to festival visitors enjoying the summer weather.

  • Health Fair at Dubois Community Center

    Montgomery County’s Dubois Community Center was the scene of a weekend health fair in July 2022, giving several SHC representatives the opportunity to meet with guests, provide information, and answer questions they may have had at the time. Attending from SHC were Jennifer Hager, Clinical Manager; Tiffany Taul, Patient Services Outreach Coordinator; and Melanie Cobb, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters

    Sterling Health Care provided a donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass for their upcoming Bowl For Kids’ Sake event at Sterling Lanes, proudly supporting the organization and its annual fundraiser which raises money to help disadvantaged children in communities, extending opportunities for help in activities, events, etc. Pictured, from left, is Anthony Thomas, SHC Risk and Compliance Manager; Chris Peck, President/Chief Executive Officer, BBBS of the Bluegrass; and Meredith Downey, BBBS Major Gifts Officer.

  • Gateway Children Services

    Sterling Health Care (SHC) provided a donation of $250 to Gateway Children’s Services (GCS) to support the organization’s 15th Annual Tournament and Silent Auction event.   • Small Town America Festival

    SHC employees welcomed a large contingent of visitors, adults and children alike, informational and activity areas set up at the Small Town America / Health Fair celebration in Mount Sterling on August 13, 2022. Health screenings, information, fun-filled challenges, and several large prize giveaways prompted a steady flow of foot traffic at the event, which coincided with the conclusion of National Health Center Week.

  • Saturday In Carlisle

    Following an abbreviated absence due to COVID-19, this popular festival returned to the streets of Carlisle on Sept. 24, 2022. Crowds flocked to the Nicholas County town to enjoy everything from festival food and games to tent vendors, car shows and local musical performers. Sterling Health Care’s presence was felt in many forms as volunteers provided health checks, information about ongoing construction of the new medical facility, numerous promotional items, and even the chance to win a 50” television and new bicycle. At the end of the day, SHC sponsored the Scarecrow Shuffle, a 5K Walk/Run for a number of participants..

  • Bourbon County 2022

    Sterling Health Care (SHC) presented a check for $3,000 to the Bourbon County School District to cover costs for student admission to the school’s athletic competitions during the 2022-2023 school year.   • Montgomery County 2022

    Sterling Health Care (SHC) presented a check for $5,000 to the Montgomery County School District to cover costs for student admission to the school’s athletic competitions during the 2022-2023 school year.   • Powell County 2022

  • MoCo Bass Fishing Team

  • Kiwanis Donation

    The Mount Sterling Kiwanis Club received a $500 donation from Sterling Health Care for its 9th Annual Diamond Gala fundraiser, the club’s largest fundraiser of the year. Tina Bryant, SHC Chief Executive Officer, is pictured presenting the commemorative check to V. Jill Evans-Aldhizer, Mt. Sterling Kiwanis member.

  • HOSA Donation

    SHC recently provided a $150 donation to Montgomery County High School and the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) program. The team excelled in this year’s regional competition and had several members advance to the state competition.   • Global Smiles

    Sterling Health Care provided a donation to Brittany Gallagher, daughter of employee Tammy Curtis, who has been selected to be part of a Global Smile Foundation team traveling to Trujillo, Peru, in late May. The team will be providing much-needed medical care to children born with cleft issues. Curtis (left) is pictured receiving the check from SHC Chief Executive Officer Tina Bryant.
