Sterling Health Care Welcomes New Providers

August 25, 2023 - MT. STERLING, KY - Sterling Health Care (SHC) is pleased to announce the addition of several new providers to its growing staff, all ready to meet the needs of its valued patients.

“It gives me great pleasure to introduce these highly skilled professionals to our patients and to the communities we serve in general,” said Tina Bryant, SHC Chief Executive Officer. “They not only bring a wealth of skills and talent to our organization, they also bring a collective spirit of true compassion and commitment that fuels our mission of providing professional, affordable health with available financial assistance to those who qualify. They share SHC’s mindset of ‘being here’ for families and we’re all excited that they’ve decided to join us.”

New staff members include:

• Dr. Makayla Lewis, a specialist in Family Health and Children’s Health currently working in Mount Sterling at 209 N. Maysville St. She will be relocating to the new SHC campus at 633 Maysville Road on Sept. 18, 2023.
• Dr. Virginia Dunlap, a professional in general dentistry currently working with patients in the Montgomery Dental Center but will be relocating to the Carlisle clinic, located at 1355 Concrete Road in Carlisle;
• Dr. Paul Bell, a professional in general dentistry working with patients in the Montgomery Dental Center, located at 635 Maysville Road;
• Ashley McNabb, Licensed Psychological Practitioner, who is working with patients in Carlisle while also seeing patients throughout all SHC locations on an as-needed basis;
• Keisha Fraley, an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner working with faculty, staff and students through the School-Based Health Program at Paris City Schools;
• Katrina Turner, Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, who will be seeing patients at the SHC-Stanton clinic located at 68 E. Elkins St.;
• Patricia Rudd, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who has joined the staff in Carlisle at 1355 Concrete Road;
• Meghan Taylor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who will be working with faculty, staff and students through the School-Based Health Program at Bourbon County Schools;
• Christy Lumpkins, Clinical Social Worker, who is working with patients through the SHC clinic in Powell County;
• Kayla Barnett, Clinical Social Worker, who will be working with students through the School-Based Health Program in the Paris City school district; and
• Jennifer Trimble, former Community Health Worker, who is now working with communities as a Clinical Social Worker.
