Sterling Health Care Adds New Providers, Services and Clinic Location

September 23, 2024 - MOUNT STERLING, KY - The meteoric rise of Sterling Health Care (SHC) as a healthcare leader in providing quality, affordable health care to Kentucky communities is creating major opportunities once again.

The Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), headquartered in Mount Sterling, has announced the expansion of its professional provider options, services offered, and the addition of its newest Primary Care clinic in Paris, Ky. The combination will continue to bolster the mission of SHC to improve the lives of the people in the communities it serves, regardless of their ability to pay.

A total of seven new providers have been added to the organization in recent weeks due to the expansion of service offerings in several of the clinics, as well as the addition of the newest clinical location in Paris. October 1, 2024, will be a milestone date for the company as it is not only scheduled as opening day for the new Bourbon County facility (to be located at 2228 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Paris), but also for the addition of primary care services at the Winchester clinic. Appointments for all services offered are now being accepted.

The providers joining SHC at this time include:

• Dr. Brian Badger, Pediatrician providing primary care, SHC-Paris clinic;
• Dixie Stone, Physician Assistant (PA-C), providing primary care to all ages, SHC-Paris clinic;
• Amy Brubaker, Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), providing primary care to patients in both the Paris and Winchester clinics;
• Brittany Robinson, APRN, providing primary care services at the Winchester clinic;
• Dr. Lily Saman, Dentist, providing dental services on a part-time basis in Carlisle;
• Steven Montgomery, PA-C, providing primary care at SHC’s main campus in Mount Sterling; and
• Rachel Hensley, PA-C, providing primary care at SHC’s main campus in Mount Sterling.

Each of these highly qualified personnel are looking forward to their new responsibilities and meeting the needs of SHC’s valued patients.
