September 12, 2024 - MOUNT STERLING, KY - Sterling Crossroads, a service line outreach of Sterling Health Care (SHC) dedicated to professional substance use treatment, has taken a major step in the fight to save lives in Montgomery County and surrounding communities.
The website is located at www.sterlingcrossroads.org and offers detailed information about the program, as well as opportunities for anyone interested to reach out and contact the organization. Substance use disorders treated are through an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or a Medication-Assisted Treatment Program, and include addictions to alcohol, opioids, cocaine, meth, marijuana, and heroin. Assessments and classes related to anger management, parenting, and relapse prevention are also offered, as well as life skills training, through the program, which is approved by the Department of Corrections.
An experienced staff is ready to answer any questions related to the program, insurance and/or enrollment.
“Unfortunately, society knows all too well the devastating effects of substance abuse on individuals, families, friends, and ultimately the communities in which we live,” said Tina Bryant, Chief Executive Officer for Sterling Health Care. “We want to spread the word that Sterling Crossroads is committed to providing the caring support and financial services that can make a positive difference in lives and the communities in which we live. As a comprehensive substance use disorder treatment center located in Mount Sterling, Sterling Crossroads believes the need for qualified professionals with a community focus has never been greater.
“We understand everyone’s journey to recovery is unique, and our treatment plans aim to address the specific needs of each individual in our care,” she continued. “The program accepts all major insurances (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) and even offers a Sliding Fee Scale program which allows the fee or co-pay for services to be based on a household’s size and income.”
Anyone struggling with substance use issues or wishes to seek help for a family member or friend, can contact Sterling Crossroads through the website or by calling 888.991.1476.
