Sterling Health Care - We're here for your family!
Sterling Health Care provides impactful, community-focused donations

June 18, 2026 - Sterling Health Care (SHC) continued its strong commitment to families and communities of Kentucky’s Gateway region with subststantial donations towards celebratory events upcoming in the area.

“Festivals and celebrations exemplify the heart and spirit of communities here in Kentucky,” said Jeff Pinkerton, SHC Marketing and Communications Director. “They give us opportunities to unite and remember that family and friendships tie us together and make us stronger, as a singular unit and as a collective community. Families are what Sterling Health Care is all about and we’re excited to be involved with events and organizers that highlight their importance.”

Organizations receiving the news of financial assistance for their activities included Montgomery County’s celebration of America’s 250th anniversary of independence (Gateway 250), the Lights Over Lykins 4th of July celebration in Winchester, Carlisle’s Blackberry Festival in July and its Saturday In Carlisle festival in September, and the Salt Lick Hometown Festival.

Gateway 250: Our Hometown Celebration

It’s no secret this is a special year in the history of the United States, marking the 250th anniversary of America’s declaration of independence. Montgomery County plans to celebrate the event with Gateway 250: Our Hometown Celebration, on July 4th at the high school football field.

SHC joined a number of other local businesses as a silver sponsor of this event.

SHC returns as a platinum sponsor for this event in Winchester, which has drawn over 6,000 attendees the previous two years. Your Federally Qualified Health Center invites kids and parents alike to stop by the bounce house section in the park to enjoy some exciting times and giveaways before the fireworks show!

Blackberry Festival

Still going strong after 80 years, this Carlisle festival continues the tradition of honoring current military service men and women, as well as all veterans and their families who sacrificed so much over the years to preserve and protect the American way of life. SHC proudly continues its participation as one of the primary sponsors and looks forward to welcoming visitors during the week of June 30 to July 4. If you’re not in it, be sure to let the parade entries know how much you enjoy their efforts in showing off their patriotism as well.

Saturday In Carlisle

The team from the SHC-Carlisle clinic returns in full force to welcome guests, provide valuable information about professional, affordable healthcare services, and host its ever-popular raffles for some amazing prizes at this hometown festival in beautiful Carlisle around the courthouse.

Don’t forget to pick up a delicious Ale-8, courtesy of our festival partners from Winchester, as everyone gathers to enjoy amazing food, great music, and plenty of special attractions for the kids in the designated area sponsored by SHC!

Salt Lick Hometown Festival

Bakers, crafters, vendors, games and much more are planned for the fifth annual installment of this festival held September 26. SHC joins other sponsors to fill the streets with celebration that also includes music, activities, and a car show sponsored by Peoples Bank of Kentucky.

Sterling Health Care’s mission is to improve the lives for all people in the communities we serve, through improved health, regardless of their ability to pay.
