February 20, 2026 - Members of Sterling Health Care's (SHC) school-based health team joined several local organizations in meeting with local students at the Northview Elementary School Teddy Bear Clinic in February.
The event allowed children to work with common medical tools using stuffed animals as patients, while learning about healthcare and what to expect during a visit to the doctor's office. Students also received gift bags full of promotional items from SHC, which included first aid kits, activity pads, and chapstick. SHC's Keisha Fraley, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), and Alexis Meeks, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), were in attendance at the event.
