January 15, 2025 - A desire to go above and beyond the goals of a class project led four students at McNabb Elementary to make a significant, positive impact on the lives of yet unnamed cancer patients. Through their efforts and a requested partnership with Sterling Health Care (SHC), two dozen bags filled with a variety of comfort items and reading materials are going to be provided to local residents facing a battle with breast cancer. The bags were presented to SHC leaders at the school on Tuesday afternoon, then delivered to the SHC-Women’s Care clinic in Mount Sterling and the SHC-Winchester clinics for distribution.
