Is a virtual visit the right
option for my visit?
In response to the global Coronavirus pandemic, Sterling Health is making our new OnDemand service available to our medical, behavioral health, and dental patients. This service will be available for all patients starting 3/13/20 and is available during office hours. To best serve our most vulnerable patients, this service is ideal for:
Patients 60 years and older
Behavioral health visits
Non-emergent Dental visits
Prescription refill follow-up appointments
WHAT IS STERLING HEALTH ONDEMAND?
This service allows all current Sterling Health patients to get the care they need through video-call technology without leaving the comfort of their homes.
What technology do patients need?
To use the OnDemand service patients will need:
A cell phone or computer with video capability
A high-speed internet or data connection
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Call your regular office and request an OnDemand appointment. The front desk team will take your information, consult with a provider to see if a virtual visit is in order, and if so, schedule an appointment.
At your appointment time, you will be provided a link via text or email that connects you with a HIPAA secure video portal.
You will complete your office visit with your provider. Check with your insurance provider to determine if video-office visits are covered under your normal co-pay.
Note: if you already have a scheduled appointment but want to change it to an OnDemand video appointment, just call us and let us know. We would be glad to note that change and work with you remotely.
